There are no exclusions. The customer can purchase by installments from any outlet of their choice.
Which transaction can be repaid in installments with “Aqsati” program?
Only purchase transactions can be repaid in installments, whether inside or outside of Jordan (cash withdrawals cannot be repaid in installments).
Is there a specific number of transactions which can be repaid in installments with “Aqsati” program per customer?
The customer can repay by installments a maximum of 3 transactions at any given moment (in case your card limit allows it). Once the customer has repaid one transaction, a new transaction can take its place.
What are the minimum and maximum amounts for purchases that the customer can repay in installments?
The minimum amount for the purchase, which the customer would like to repay in installments, is JD 200 per transaction.
The maximum amount for the purchase, which the customer would like to repay in installments, is JD 5000 per transaction, noting that the installed amount plus interest must not exceed the card limit.
Is it possible for the customer to repay their installments in a 2-month period?
No, that is not possible, since the minimum duration is 3 months, with a maximum of 24 months.
Considering that a customer has made a purchase worth JD 300, which he would like to repay during a 6-month period, what is the amount of interest paid?
Amount of interest = the purchase amount*1%*number of installment month
= JD 18
What is the time period in which the customer can request to repay their purchases in installments?
The request to repay in installments can be made a maximum of 5 working days after purchase (taking into consideration official weekends and public vacations).
Can the customer request to repay their purchase in installments if they were outside Jordan?
Yes, they can submit their request by calling the 24/7 Contact Center.
Should the total amount of transactions to be repaid in installments fall between JD 200 to JD 5000, or does this apply per transaction only?
As per the terms and conditions, the minimum and maximum amounts apply per transaction only and not to the total amount.
Will “Nuqati” points added to purchases being installed?
Of course “Nuqati” points will be added based on purchases being installed.
How can a customer stay informed on installment payment details?
You can know all your installment details through the Contact Center and through your electronic and paper credit card statement.
If a customer makes a purchase of JD 1000 and would like to repay the amount in installments, although he has defaulted on the previous month’s payment, what is the amount of interest paid?
The request to repay in installments will be denied, since there is a due credit card payment at the time of applying for the installment program.
In case the customer defaulted on “Aqsati” program payments, what is the procedure to be taken by the bank?
If the customer is paying for a purchase by installments and misses two payments in a row, the installment program will be cancelled and the amount of installments remaining (with interest) will be merged with the customer’s account outstanding balance.
