AMMAN, June 8, 2016 - Bank of Jordan (BoJ), and CRIF-Jordan signed a Credit Information Service Agreement under which BOJ can obtain credit information provided by CRIF-Jordan, the first credit bureau licensed by the Central Bank of Jordan.
BOJ Assistant Director General /Chief Risk Officer Saleh Rajab, and CRIF Jordan General Manager Ahmad Al-Amoudi signed the agreement in the presence of other officials from the two sides.

Under the agreement, BoJ will make use of credit data and information provided by CRIF-Jordan in assessing risk and developing financing solutions that meet the needs of its growing client base.

Commenting on the agreement, Rajab said that BoJ seeks to develop its risk management system and speed of credit decisions, as well as to enhance customer services and banking solutions.

For his part, Amoudi welcomed BoJ to the CRIF-Jordan family, saying technologies employed by the company help provide BoJ with solutions and services, which will contribute to the advancement of the decision making process, risk assessment, and banking products to serve new market segments.
