Bank of Jordan (BOJ) sponsored Jordanian climber Nuha Bulbul who successfully made the daring attempt to climb the Mera Peak in the Himalayas, 6,476 meters above sea level, in a journey that took 12 days.
Ms Nuha thanked the Bank for its support describing the moment of reaching the peak as "historic and great ", adding that she hopes to raise the Jordanian flag high on the world's highest mountain tops. The young participant added that this achievement proves that Jordanian women are up to the challenge and are great achievers.
BOJ supports various sports and youth activities year-round, which falls under it social corporate responsibility program that specifically targets the distinguished and the underprivileged.
