Believing in the importance of human capital in moving business forward, Bank of Jordan recently launched the Employee Core Competencies project in a meeting that brought together senior management and employees.
The meeting, held at the Four Seasons Hotel Amman, started with a general introduction from the Acting Director General. After that the Executive manager for the HR Dept. explained the project goals, and how it will be implemented.
Core competencies refer to a set of technical capacities, knowledge, and behaviors that help employees to efficiently fulfill required tasks - which would ultimately reflect positively on the Bank’s overall performance.
At the end of the meeting the Employees received copies of the core competencies guide, which covers a detailed description of each competency with relevant examples.
